About the Author
Meet Christine Martin
When I was 8 years old, Earl Hamner inspired me to start writing; to express my thoughts, feelings, and emotions in words. Writing became my passion. Several songs, stories, poems, essays, testimonies, family Christmas letters, and posts later—and after starting my second family newspaper, The Martin News, I finally got the nerve up to start my own blog. Thank you, Cousin Sarah, for encouraging me to just go for it. In addition to writing, I also enjoy taking pictures, singing, playing my guitar, crocheting, crafting, scrapbooking, cooking, traveling, spending time outdoors, and enjoying time with family and friends. I have Limb Girdle Bethlem Myopathy Muscular Dystrophy and some days are hard, but I am thankful to have a God who gives me strength and a reason to live and enjoy His blessings and His great love. I was raised in Michigan and currently live in Tennessee with my sweet husband Daniel. One day I hope to publish my first book and home school the children we hope to have, but for now I’m enjoying being a wife, homemaker, writer, singer, and being involved in ministry and with our local church. I hope you are encouraged and blessed by all you find on Teacups and Roses.
